Na początek wypowiedź jednego z użytkowników na temat historii powstania "...of Ruins and a Red Nightfall"

Cytat:
Everybody knows that Morten decided to expose his Marxist tendency in that part, by singing: “We shall take thee among the veils of Surplus Vale and the Hammer and the Sickle thou shall worship, o, neoliberalism’s fellow!”, a phrase which provoked a great tension between the guitarist and singer and the other members of the band, whose social and political militancy in favour of Norway’s joining to the European Union is well-known by theirs fans, who, during the “Beyond the Veil”’s Tour used to wear a t-shirt with the inscription: “Gothic followers of the Moral, Ethic and Christian Faith, respecting the civil laws and the power of the folks”. These clothes, as it’s well documented in the chronicles of the Norwegian press, were the last controversy which Morten could endure: he hastily left the band when he realised that Anders and Einar were the ones who distributed the t-shirts.

Anyway, Morten never gave up. And he kept fighting with his new band Sirenia (baptised, as we all know, as an homage to an heroic submarine of the USSR’s army, which lurked the capitalist Sweden’s costs during the ‘70s, before it was bought by the Dane government to search for oil in Denmark’s depths). As the musician himself declared at an interview with the communist branch of the CNN, the hit of his last album “Nine Destinies and a Downfall” (a title which, by the way, is a reference to a theory developed in the ‘80s by Russian philosophers about the nine possible futures of the USSR and his eminent fall; it’s not needed to aggregate that this album is a conceptual work about the last years of the communist rule in the Eastern Europe), “The Other Side”, is a story about two sisters in the frontier of a communist country in the East of Europe, one of whom is going to travel to the West in search of a better future, better than the one that her elder sister will have as she will stay in the Marxist world, which has misunderstood the commandments of Lenin and is going down day by day.
If we add to this fact the subliminal message in the chorus of the not less known song “Sundown”:

"The Marxism will have never-ending life
As the Liberalism loses the fight
The West gets old and I’m not a liar:
The workers’ reign will at last be restored”

We cannot doubt anymore about that verse of “...of Ruins and a Red Nightfall”.

Co o tym myślicie? Ja jestem wielce zaskoczona, w Sirenii teksty się nie zagłębiałam a te Tristanii z ery Mortena były nieczytelne Jezyk
